• (Received June 18, 12.30 p.m.) 4SYDNEY( June 18. Sub-Lieutenant F. S. Kelly, who was wounded at the Dardanelles, + was ; an. Oxford graduate and a prominent oarsman. He thrice won the Diamond Sculls and once the Wingfield Scußs. He was a member of I?be Leander-boat which thrice won the Henley Grand Challenge Gup., The mineral output of New South Wales for 1914 was valued at £10,409,----702, a decrease of £1,595,364. ~The chief decreases were in lead, zinc, tin and copper as the result of the war. MELBOURNE, June 18. The State Premier has announced that the manufacture of shells has already commenced at the Newport railway shops, and a representative committee from various interests has been formed to' forward the movement. The State Cabinet has appointed a Royal Committee to enquire into the export of frozen meat.
