A second demonstration of the Macdonald automatic milk weighing and sampling machine took place at Mr T. McPhillips' farm, Manaia, on Wednesday. There were a considerable number of "famrers present and all were very satisfied with the results shown by the machine. Some of the cows were milked, and the record of weight taken by the machine. The milk was then put into a bucket and weighed separately, when the weights tallied exactly. The ease with which the weight and sample of strippings were obtained and weighed and automatically added to the main supply, won the general approval of all present.
