Splendid entries have' been received for this year's winter funptionj and the show gives promise of bejng; bagger and better than ever. There" fill be good competition in nearly all t-fie, classes scheduled,- and the trade "exhibits will be far in excess to those of previous years. The working exhibits, we are assured, will be a show in themselves, and will be well worth going a long way to see. The committee is working VGVy hard to have everything in apple pie order for. the opening "day, and it will rest with the public to complete the success of the s*ow by rolling up in large numbers. Children's Day is fixed for Friday, 11th June, and arrangements have been made for; the schools to close that day.
