'■'■■ V AUCKLAND, June 1. A fire, at the rear of St. James' Hall, Wellington street, at one o'clock this morning, , was suppressed • with slight dairiage.. There are evidences of incendiarism, as a gas; j et in the lavatory had been turned on and a piece of piping attached, so as to direct the flame on to the woodwork. f
