RECOMMENDATIONS AGREED TO.

A conference of delegates from the Sgmont, Stratford and Taranaki A. and *, Associations was held at New Piynouth recently, when recommendations governing the working of the Associations were adopted for consideration by he respective Associations interested Che Eguaont A. and P. Association on Saturday considered the reeommendasuras, all of which, were agreed to as follows: — Egmont-Stratford—That the societies will provide a reasonable amount of green feed for exhibitors' animals, and also a limited amount of bedding free irf charge. Any other feed obtainable will be provided at cost price by the societies, >but exhibitors must give notice of their requirement to the secretary at time of entry, and that the above role be printed in 'entry forms and catalogues. Ugmont-Stratford—That the societies make a uniform charge at the gaves of 2s for men, Is for ladies and 6d lor children under 12. Stratford-Taranaki—That an annual conference of delegates from Taranaki and Waverley- Associations should be> held at the different centres in rotation. and that an Association be formed, the various societies to advise the Taranaki Society that they approve of the formation of such Association. Hawera-Stratford —That the Railway Department be approached by the cornlined societies with the request that at least one passenger carriage be attached to all special trains carrying etofck to and from the -various shows it the district, . . , fiawera-Tarariaki—That attention be drawn to the fact that all prize-winners sn7;ihe cattle and horse sections must Ije^hown in the parade, and any exhibitor failing to comply with this rule, is ( liable to forfeit any prize-money won. : Stratford-Taranaki—That the suggestions relating:to gate charge^, privileges, luncheon tickets and fodder be printed for each socvieties' catalogue, and be] signed hy the presidents of the interested societies. That the next conference of the societies be held at Stratford.
