Go.fers will be glad to know that the Mawera Club s full eighteen-hole course is now open for play. The new nine holes out m the sandy corr iv will provide most interesting golf, -ad the new greens have eorae on sv. ,risingly well. The fairways, in a few places, are still a little rough, but these will rapidly improve, and in a year or two Hawera should possess a really well laid out course equal to a.ny on the coast.
