THE VERDICT.

BT TKLHGRAPH —PB.BSB ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, May 29. As a result of the inquest on the fiVe victims of the gas poisoning last month, the following verdict ,W£« returned : "That deceased died from ooal gas poisoning due to an accidental escape of gas from the- service mains, caused by abnormal gas pressure being exerted from Miramar . manufacturing station, after 10 p.m. on the 19th of April, which the governor at Onepu road failed to regulate."
