The newly-formed anti-German Union held a demonstration in the East End and demanded that besides internment off hairdressers and waiters, the Government should intern the rich Germans mingling in society, who were be--«oming mor.e dangerous. Speakers advocated following the Russian example by expelling Germans and preventing their re-entry in future. PARIS, May 28. ' The provincial administration in Brahant has issued statistics which show that during the German occupation of -£he Brabant district 5842 houses were -burned, and sixteen thousand damaged and pillaged. Eight hundred and thirtyfour civilians, men, women and chil<dren were shot, and 112 sent to Germany.
