LONDON MARKETS

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office under date 13th instant:—

"Wool.—-Sales continue with increasing spirit. Compared with the closing rates of March sales fine and e medium greasy crossbred are on a'par, and coarse 5 per cent, lower. Good merinos, greasy and scoured, are on a par, and faulty and inferior 5 per cent, lower, whilst short bur.ry scoured are neglected.

Tallow. —At auction prices were on the average Is per cwt. lower. Good mixed realised 34s 6d.
