DEATH AS RESULT OF COLLISION

IXYERCARGILL, April 16. ] A coronial enquiry was held to-day regarding the deatli of William Jackson, aged 33 years, who died as the result of injuries received on Easter Monday evening, when a motor car driven by Louis Fosbender collided with a cart driven by the deceased. After the hearing, which lasted six hours, the coroner found that death was due to rupture of the liver caused by his being violently thrown from a cart in consequence of collision with a motor car negligently driven by Louis JFosbender. Fosbender was arrested and charged with manslaughter, and was remanded till Wednesday, bail being fixed at £500.
