OBITUARY.
MR JOHN HOOK
We regret to announce that Mr. John Hook, proprietor of the Commercial Hotel, died to-day. Mr Hook had a paralytic stroke exactly a week ago, but his death may be. said to have happened somewhat unexpectedly. Mr Hook has resided for many years in Hawera, where he has been held in the highest respect. His widow and family will have the sincere sympathy of many friends.!
