STATE BAKERIES

SYDNEY, March 17. At a mass meeting of the Bakers' Union reference was made to Mr Hall's State baking scheme, when a resolution was carried condemning any action of the Government tending to minimise labor, and -which' would throw out of employment hundreds of men. It was stated that under the State baking scheme five out of six bakers •now employed would be idled.
