GOVERNMENT ACTION.
"We have found it necessary in 4ho meantime to prohibit the exportation of oats," said the Prime Minister to a Dominion reporter. "It has been reported to me that judging by present appearances there are barely enough oats m the Dominion this season for our own requirements. The case in respect to oats is different from that ror wheat in this resDect, that it would be almost impossible to import oatsfrom any other country, and to avoid hardship and inconvenience later the export of oats must stoo for the present."
