Lance-Corporal Dobson of the Cold--dreams received the Victoria Cross for twice rescuing wounded under heavy fire a\ the Aisne. The officer and pilot were riddled with bullets. AMSTERDAM, Dec. 10. A German at Bruges shot a Frenchman accused of furnishing the Allies with the location of petrol depots. Aviators recently have developed -amazing skill in dropping bombs on depots of the Germans. These have l»een shifted hither and thither, but -are never safe from aeroplane attack.
