Picture patrons should be delighted to learn that to-night; at the Opera House, they will have the opportunity ot seeing the latest and greatest success of the Famous Players Company, entitled "One of our Girls," also mtrocfucing for the first time in New Zealand America's celebrated actress, Miss Hazel Dawn, who quite recently scored m New York a most brilliant success on tf©. legitimate staee. "One of our Uirls is a drama which closely interweaves the interests cf two mighty nations, and Hazel Dawn portrays ihe leading character, otherwise Kate Shipley, rhe subject teems with patriotic interest, and the thrilling situations combined with the inspiring sacrifices of the plucky and quick-witted American girl on behalf of her little French cousin, furnish all the elements necessary to successful drama. The pictures supporting the chief film are worthy of especial mention. They include "A Mountain Pass," colored scenic; Pathe's War Gazette, crammed with interesting news from Europe; "Tangled Tangoists," a Vitagraph comedy; and "The Ever-Gallant Marquis." an Edison comedy. The orchestra will furnish suitable accompaniments.
