TAIHAPE FREEZING CO.
TAIHAPE, Dec. 10. An enthusiastic meeting of shareholders of the Taihape Freezing Company unanimously decided to resume 'the canvass for shares which was suspended on the outbreak of war. It is hoped to place the number, of shares necessary to float the company before Christmas, in which case tenders will be called for the erection of freezing works at- an approximate cost <k £35,000. A site of 82 acres at Winiata has been purchased for £2870. It was reported that Major Norton had recommended the Bristol and Dominions company to assist the project by taking debentures for £20,000 and that it was more than likely the company would act on the recommendation.
