RIFLE SHOOTING
BY TKjEGRAPH I'KESH ABSOnT\TTON. DUNEDIN, Dec. 2. The annual shooting competition for the secondary schools of the Dominion was concluded yesterday. The conditions were greatly altered this year, Bisley regulations giving W ay to snapshooting. ■ The schools were divided into grades, the A grade with an attendance of 200 and over; the B grade with an attendance of between 100 and 200; and the C grade with an attendance of less than 100. Only six teams comp?ted for tl.s A grade, and one foi; the B grade. Results:—
A Grade. —Waitaki, 454 points, 1; Wellington College, 420 points, 2; Nelson College, 374 points, 3;' New Plymouth, 313 points. 4; Otago, 330 points; Wanganui, 285 points. B Grade. —Palmerston North, 257 points. , The highest individual-scorers were: Lance-Corporal Ray ward (AYellington), 68; and Sergeant Sutherland (New Plymouth), 63.
