Tennent, Presbyterian minister at Martinborough, was killed while motoring to Hinakura, 17 miles fern Martinborough, on Saturday afterWfNMi. The car swerved into a difcch, and after proceeding for a few yards overturned, jpnnimg, Mr, Tennent to the ground. Sir Walter Buchanan, MJ?., who was motoring ,alor/j£ the same rcrad, saw the accident, and jreleased Mr. _7enneat, who was seriously injured aad died a few minutes la-tiw. Deceased, who *ras formerly usitiister a* Port Chalmers, is survived by a wi£e and grown-up family.
