A CLERGYMAN'S DEATH
I 3? TELEORAPH—PRKSS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Nov. 9. Tlie' Sev. E. C. Tennent, Presbyterian minister at Martinborough, was killed while motoring to Hinakura, 17 miles fern Martinborough, on Saturday afterWfNMi. The car swerved into a difcch, and after proceeding for a few yards overturned, jpnnimg, Mr, Tennent to the ground. Sir Walter Buchanan, MJ?., who was motoring ,alor/j£ the same rcrad, saw the accident, and jreleased Mr. _7enneat, who was seriously injured aad died a few minutes la-tiw. Deceased, who *ras formerly usitiister a* Port Chalmers, is survived by a wi£e and grown-up family.
