Miss Agnes Gallagher, of Hawera, who competed at the musical examinations at Wellington recently, was successful in singing, and passed the final for the L.A.B. degree.

Mr W. E. O'DonneU, son of Mrs O'Donnell, Hawera, who is studying theology at St. Columbus College, Springward, New South. Wales, has won the college championship, in athletics. . • ■ -
