BIBLE IN SCHOOLS QUESTION

WELLINGTON, Oct. 22

The Bible in Schools Committee, after Canon Garland had. read evidence for two hours, decided to' take the remainder of the 235 pages as read. An objection was raised to a- portion of the evidence, which consisted of a collection of evidence of other people. It was ultimately decided that it could be put in as ah appendix.

Bishop Cleary objected to Canon Garland lumping together opponents of the Bill as one party. Professor Hunter and the Rev. D. C. Bates concurred in this objection.
