There is every reason to,believe that Mr Horace Hunt, a Wellington pianist, is being held as a prisoner in Berlin! His sister, Mrs. Strickland, has received a postcard from her brother, ™™ +i• ll"' -AVSUBt .12, written appaiently in good spmts, and wishing her a happy Christinas, New Year, and Easter! Mrs. Strickland was struck by the absence of sny remarks expressive of his feelings or desire to be safe m England, but, it is well known • Mr- J±unt /would not be allowed to write anything m that vein. Mr. Hunt, who was organist and choirmaster at the lerraee Congregatijoaal Church, and very well known in musical circles in Wellington and Auckland, left about two years ago to complete his musical studies in the 01d#World, and hasbeen resident m Germany for over a year.
