LONDON WOOL SALES

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London, office:—Next wool salej November 3rd. List olosed September! Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office, under date 12th I instant: In the London sales just closed a total of 43,000 bales were catalogued. Of this quantity 38,000 bales were sold1 to the Home trade, and 2000 bales toj the Continent, leaving a carry forward of 3000 bales, plus 8000 which were not offered. At the next wool sale, fixed to take place on November 3rd, the total offering will probably be 50,000 to 60,000 bales. Further sales have been fixed for December Bth (for which arrivals to November 30th will betaken) and January 19th, for which quantity is unlimited.
