The -second rounds of the New -Zealand amateur championship 1 and professional match were played, i The tour-ball bogey handicap was won i by P. Kliss and S. Morpeth, while the ! tie in the bogey handicap between four competitors was played off. Anj other tie resulted between A. D S. Duncan and J..8. The tie in the O'Rorke Inter-club Challenge Vase match between the Wellington and Auckland teams was played off to-day} in conjunction with the fourball bogey handicap, and resulted in a win for Auckland by a margin of five points:— Auckland.—J.
