WRECK OF THE MANGAPAPA.

BY TKLBGHAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. The Marine Department has ordered that the magisterial enquiry into'the stranding of the Mangapapa is to be? held at Westport as soon as the crew: reaches that place. The vessel waa partly insured with the Queensland Insurance Company.

The Secretary of the General Post Office is advised by the postmaster at Karamea as follows:

"The steamer Mangapapa is how lying broadside on, starboard side to tier «ea, deeply embedded in the sand, witßi? the seabreaking over her. At half tid» she was full of water to the deck 'Y The>:.'■ rudder is broken. The sea is moderafeing, but there is little prospect of floating her."
