At Marton Court this niornin'g •-• R. Cooke, late secretary of the Marton Farmers' Union, was charged with failing to account for the following moneys duo .to the Wellington. Meat Export Co., £65 7s lid; Wanganui Meat Co., £111 6s 3d; Gear Meat Pressing Co., £16 16s Sd; R. Echvards, Palmerston North, £44 3s; making a total deficiency, less credit at the bank, of £228 3s 2d. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence. .
