Judgment was given for plaintiffs, with costs, in the following undefended cases:—J. Barclay v. C. Penfold, £6 3s ! sd ; A. Slater v. S. Weston jun., £34"3s JUDGMENT SUMMONS. ' \ * :- ' TRUANCY CASE. \ \ ' The truant officer (Mr Skinner) proceeded against I£ahu, on three infor-' iactions for having failed to send his child to school. On the first informauon the defendant was fined 10s, with Court costs 7s, cost of service 7s 6d, \i;id cost of translation ss, expenses of inspector, £1; in default, seven days' imprisonment. On the three other mio;mations the defendant was fined ss, ■•vith costs of translation 5s in each ffise-; in default 48 hours' imprisonment.'
