A message from Perth (Western Australia) to-day states that Miss Ellen Terry, the celebrated actz-ass, is a passenger by the Omrah.

Mr G. W. Forbes, M.P. for Hurunui, was in Hawera to-day, en route for Opunake, where he will deliver a political address to-night. He had a good meeting at Kai Iwi on Tuesday night. llr Forbes said he had been only once previously in Hawera., some 22 years ago, when he played for Canterbury aijamst Taranaki in Rugby football.
