HOLLAND'S SENTENCE.
NO REMISSION TO BE RECOM-
MENDED
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.
DUNEDIN, April 28. The Hon. J. T. Paul has received the following telegram from the Minister of Justice:
"The Hon. J. Allen has communicated to me the representations made to him by a deputation introduced by you, urging remission of the sentence imposed upon Holland. The matter has received very careful consideration, but I regret that I can see no sufficient grounds to justify me in recommending the Governor to grant any remission of the sentence imposed upon Holland."
