BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT LONDON. April 25. Ihe King and Queen have returned irom r ranee.
The King, on arrival at Dover, replying to an address, said: "W e will never forget the warmth and enthusiasm ot our recention in France and I hope this genuine proof of friendship and nood feeling towards Great Britain on the part of the French nation will be fully realised by my people." The Queen Mother Alexandra awaited the train at the Victoria railway station, and King George, on alighting, kissed her on both cheeks. Queen Mary likewise embraced her. The spontaneous cheers given for France wherewith their Majesties were greeted on the way from Victoria station to Buckingham Palace, showed that the visit was popular here as in France.
