Cup.—Burnley beat Liverpool 1 to 0. The winners scored in the second half. There were a hundred thousand sp^ectators.
The King presented the cup. The League contest is practically finished, with Blackburn champions. Preston and Derby go down and "Notts County and Bradford go up.
