CASE OF MENTAL ABERRATION

WELLINGTON, April 24. A young man who arrived by the Corinthic from London on Monday had intended to go to the West Coast full of the intention to revolutionise the system of mining in vogue. He proposed to shoot the coal out of the seams with bullets from a rifle. The police became interested in the man's project with the result that he is now detained in a mental hospital. He will probably be treated as an undesirable immigrant and deported.
