MINISTERIAL VISIT.

HON. W. H. HERRIES

! The Hon. W. H. Herries, Minister of .Railways and Native Affairs, will arrive this evening by the express from Wellington, and will remain in Hawera to-night. He will be seen on a number of subjects of local interest. As Native Minister he will be met at the train by members of the Ohawe Domain Board, and will go out by motor car to" Tokaora and the Waingongoro beach. Messrs Fearce and Wilkinson, M.P.'s, are expected to be m the party. The Board will, with the Minister, inspect the native reserve and discuss the question of the acquisition by the Government of a portion of the reserve under the Act of last session, with a suggestion that the reserve be placed under the control of the Board.
