In replying to ■ counsel's query as to whether it would not be better to hear Lord Murray's statement first, Lord, Halsbury said it was quite outrageous that Lord Murray should make a statement. It was for the accusers to establish their case. The committee gave no directions about the course counsel should take, and adjourned.
