WELLINGTON, Feb. 7. A private boardinghouse -in Dixon street, occupied by L. Bolton, was gutted by fire last ni^ht. Subsequently the charred remains of a man were found; that of James Martin, aged-27, son of the landlady, Mrs Boltbn, by a former marriage. Boltbri and his wife 6tate they left the house at 7.15 p.m., when all' was apparently safe.
