mi SYDNEY, Jan. 24. The Federated Engine-drivers' Association has presented a claim- on behalf of lightermen for an increase of wages from £2 10s to £3 weekly. The various claims made on shipping companies within the year represent an augmentation of wages bills by 38 per centum, involving a total of over £600,000. ,
