The new., programmer at the Opera House on" Friday evening- comprised a good cbHeqfcion of films and' utr wks headed by a-strong threes-act drama entitled "Seed of the F&tners."1 In many respects this- was rather a remarkable picture^ qfuite> put of l tHe- orfinary run of dramatic stories, inasmuch as it dealt with a law of nature. It illustrated in a series of powerful 1 situations, th§* subleties-of heredity. There was a moral in the-story: Unlike- most of the drar matic-pictures, the- piece ended in tragedy, tie snooting her onlyeon who-Had inherited" the instincts of a biirglar from bis fatner, who was imprisoned 7 when he was a Tad. The picture was_ closely followed" and n>a>le a. powerful impression. "Tfie G'aumont Graphic* andvtße picture- illustrating the pro-, pcress-of aviation, were both instrnctvie. The- programme- concluded with an amusing comedy; "The Fatal Taxicab;"' which kept the house in a cous*anfc state of merriment. The Lyric Ortftes+ra contrißuted pleasing selections-. The which was thorous^ily enjoyed; will be repeated to-ni^-Ht. ;
