MELBOURNE, Dec. 19
The annual report of the XiieutenantGovernor of Papua shows a decrease in imports and a good increase in exports. The total revenue was £8249. Ten thousand acres more land were brought under cultivation during the year, and the European population increased by 152. Native labor is offering more freely for the plantations, and the natives are showing' more readiness to accept European remedies for disease. They submitted freely to vaccination, believing it protected them against.the influences of sorocery.
