INTERrSCHOOLS CONTEST

CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 19. In the inter-schools' four-oared race the crews in the final consisted of Christchurch High School four, who, on the previous day, had disposed of Wanganui College,, arid the Waitaki Boys' High School crew^ who had defeated Christ's College. The course was a mile in length.
The crews were:—Christchurch Boys' High School: E. R. D. Fitch ((stroke), lOst.; T. G. G. Candy (3), 93t 81b; W. Stanbury (2), lOst. 41b; C- Miln (bow), 9st 101b, and cox, liryan Dailey, 3st 131b; Waitaki Boys' High School: W. F. Warner * (stroke), lOst 41b; W. Sanderson (3), lOst 71b; R. A. Church (2), list 51b; A. G. Jamieson (bow) r ,lost 3 lb; cox, W. P. Pringle, 6st 101b. Waitaki won easily by 6ix lengths: Time, smin. .4Qsec.
Christ'e College beat Wanganui College by six lengths.
