INCREASE OF ARMAMENTS
LONDON, Dec. 17. A deputation of Liberal members of the House of Commons, headed T>y Mr P. A. Molteno, urged the Premier to refuse the increase of armaments. Mr Asquith replied that the forthcoming large increase in the Estimates was an automatic one, which the Hoyse of Commons had already sanctioned, and denied that there were any other commitments. The deputation expressed its satisfaction.-
