The dresi fabrics for next summer, designed ill Paris are chiefly of sweet p/ea tints and a new color known as nacrtnfe, which gives a mother-of-peerl effect, the fabric itself being a light velvet corduroy with a fine gauze back. Chute d'eau —a name derived frbm the French for waterfall—is a pale blue fabric with a silvery-white tint, which, when in motion, suggests falling water.
