ENTERTAINMENTS.
OPERA" HOUSE^TO-NIGHT.
A choice assortment of cinematographic films will be shown at the ! Opera House this evening, and with the prospect of a good evening's entertainment before them, a large house .should be present." "The". Grandmother's Lamp" is the star attraction, an outline of the story being as follows: The associations attached by the grandmother to an old lamp are revived by a well-meant attempt on the -part of her descendants to replace it "by-a more modern one, and she tells the story of the incidents, many years •earlier, in which the lamp .played a leading -part, and which brought her -and her future husband together. The thematic incidents of the courtship, incidentally providing vivid pictures of -the Italian campaign for freedom, are such as to make a strong appeal to an audience. This fi£e film is well sup--ported. the other leading piece being <4The Girl of the Cabaret,"/ a remarksibly clever drama true to life.
