81 OABUK-»B88 ABBOCIATION-COPYBIGHT. LONDON, Dec. 8. Lieutenant Pennell, lately master of the Terra Nova, in a letter to the newspapers, states that Commander Evans. Lieutenant Campbell, Dr Atkinson and w other members of the Scott Antarctic of 1910-13, and also Lady Scott, point ont that, however attractive Lientenazit Stackhouse's expedition may be. they are not aware'; that Captain Scott proposed any plans fo» Antarctic exploration excepting those carried ou£ by himself or his lieutenants.- Lieutenant Pennell adds that the officers of Captain Scott's ! expedition protest against the un- , authorised use of their leader's name.
