EXTRAORDINARY LETTERS

The following extraordinary letters are published in the New Zealand Times: Johnsonville^ N.Z., September 13, 1913. Sir Oliver Lodge, Birmingham, England. Dear. Sir,—Seeing a summary in- this day's cables from London of your remarks concerning "Life' 1 and the imminence of God, from the scientific standpoint, I deem it worth while to forward you copies of inspired works of mine, which .are of the greatest possible value to the whole - human race. I have submited these revelations to the ablest men in this country, but so far none can appreciate the fact that I am expressing the mind of the transcendant God of the Universe. In forwarding you my works, "God's Suggestions," ""The New Palestine" "The New Idealist," "The Milleneftnn/* and "The Key to the Millennium," I feel sure that I am sending them to a competent psychological authority. Of all questions the millen- '■ nium transcends all, for it is the prac- j tical coming of heaven on earth. So j aoon as you are able to see that God j has selected me to expound the philo- j sophy of this marvellous dispensation,! come to New Zealand with all speed, | and crown your researches with the ' greatest "lustre" ' science'and religion can attain. —I am, etc., (Signed) F. T. MOORE. Johnsonville, N.Z., September 23, 1913. Sir Oliver Lodge, Birmingham. England. Dear' Sir, —Follosving my letter of ] last week I now send you a clipping' from The Dominion newspaper, snow- i ing you Sir J. G. Ward's view of my' action in consulting you. I also wisn | you to see that I have publicly stated., that you, or an associated scientist, will come to New Zealand and look into the nature of my messages' from the Lord of the High Heavens. 1 hold this view because God has manifested to me that a man upon whom the eyes of all scientific me a are centred, will come to New Zealand and confer with my countrymen regarding my revelations. | God manifests to me both clairvoyant ly and clairaudiently, and since taking possession of my life in 1900 he has never left me to my own resources. He has guided me in lay business affairs, making me a prosperous captain of industry, whereas I was formerly an employee in the meat trade. So correctly have all His manifestations, His spoken words, His visions, come to pass, concerning my personal welfare, that I am confident all Bis manifestations concerning the welfare of humanity will also truly come to pass. God pictured me directing and controlling large timber interests long before I knew the forest 1 now operate existed. He pictured my occupation of the large residential abodes that I now possess in both town and country before these buildings were erected: by me. He pictured me driving my' motor-car when I was too poor to think of ever owning such a thing. ' He pictured me erecting a large place of public entertainment and recreation in my native town. He pictured me in tue rank and attire of a captain of the New Zealand Forces long before I became a military offices. He pictured me presiding over both town and county councils before I was a member of either body, and to-day I am the i chairman of both. J He has pictured me sitting in Parliament, which event has yet to come,1 but/ it will surely do so. He lias pictured my financial end commercial \ schemes for the inauguration of the millennium adopted by the Legislature of New Zealand and put into practical ,' operation with splendid results. He • has pictured State notes in circulation, ' based on the very scheme laid down in my Tcey to ' the millennium. He has pictured crowds of the world's greatest intellects listening to my addresses regarding the millennium. He has brilliantly pictured me the "cynosure" of all eyes in Christendom, the man who illumines the way for the millennium. He has pictured the de- '• vout adherents of the Church of Rome ' adopting the 'doctrine of the Church of Great Britain founded by me. I All this may seem egotism of the : most extravagant order. If it is, then ! it is because God has made me His ego on earth; to speak for Him; to ' write for Him; to teach for Him; to ' do whatever He wills shall be done on earth in His name. His object in lifting me from obscurity to this lofty pinnacle may seem strange and mysterious. But God's ways have always been devious. He predestined , me for the task I now have ages ago. i Not because I was to be or am any better, or as good, as many other men; but to show all men that family, birth, t and lineage are nothing to Him; that i when He wants a Messiah, He prefers to choose from among the lowly bre"s and born that all men may see, that the poorest and lowliest receive most consideration from Him. I shall await your reply to my letters with deep interest. I may write you again and again before you have time to reply. Of this I feel sure. God knows what evidences are required to stir and move your scientific mind, I and He will inspire me to write until! you are moved in His own way and in His own time. lam but His messenger to do as He will have me do. In the hope that yourself and Sir '■ Joseph Ward will be among the first! of the notable men living on earth today" to befriend and support the immense programme of works I have in hand; for the inauguration of the millennium, in order that all men may soon be banded in one great brotherhood with God's blessedness. —I am, etc., :• (Signed) F. T. MOORE. Johnsonville, N.Z., September 13, 1913. Sir Oliver Lodge, Birmingham, England. Dear sir, —For IiKX) years the world has thought that the last Book in the New Testament, the Book of Revelations, was the final word from God, and that no further counsel or advice would be vouchsafed to man by the author of the Bible. But at the dawn of the twentieth century, God broke His long silence, and appointed a man of humble birth and education a Messiah, and inspired him to write fresh materials for new codes of laws and ethics, which modern matter will supersede God's ancient teaching, because new social, political and economic philosophies and theologies are required for the inauguration of the millennium, as foretold in Holy Writ. For thirteen years I have enjoyed the pleasure of committing to paper and publishing hundreds of inspired letters, essays and booklets bearing upon all phases of social and political economy and religion. While Mr Seddon lived I received encouragement from him, and I hare also received credit for good intentions from Mr Wilford. For many jesrs Sir J. G. Ward would not give countenance to my works, but recently he is so much impressed that he will welcome assistance from you, in arriving at a proper estimate of the value in ivy stupendous revelations. I have never extensively srrght the dpinions of other men, because I realised that: few intellects are equal to the'task of judging. 1 have felt that * must stand alone until my programme is etif-

ficiently developed to make itself t snit«>t to the toiemost leadeis ot thought , in the world, for when a few of such I men are convinced, then it will 'he an easy matter to. produce convincing evidence for the multitude. This is tlie reason why I am laying my works before you. You are associated with uhe most .wgre-ssive men ,ot the day. and Therefore competent to analyse the feasibility and practicalbity, of my .many plans and schemes for the regeneration of society, quite apart from the fact that I claim to write in God's name, I am a physically strong man of the »vorld, ai-d as i such fully satisfied that each of the economic propositions laid iloivn by n^e . can be put into practice with beneficial I results to humanity. I also realise that the economic portion of n>y pr< pamme must be proved and adopted before ■ people will change the faith at.d confidence they now cherish in the church and Bible of their ancestors. The complete inauguration of the Millennium : will therefore be slow and tedious—the I work-of a full generation. j While this space of time seems Ida; to man, it is short to God, le?s to Him than one of the many ihort cays -uhich comprise our lifetime on earth oie to vs. i In the hope that this, my third epistle, I addressed to you within the present i month, will impress you with the i j portj ance of deeply investigating the nature j of all the matter submitted by me for j your consideration. I now conclude with the remark that the correct interpretation, of the mind of God" is to-day, as it always has been, the very highest work of man on earth.—l am', etc., (Signed) F.T. MOORE.
