Spend 5s 6d on Meccano and make your boy's future a sure thing. Give him a worth while toy—Meccano—a toy in a hundred and a hunderd toys in one from Dixon's only.—-Advt. * Every Name on The Black List Represents an Unpaid Tailor's Bill ... If youfwant to know one reason why you pay such high prices for your tailoring, read these few extracts taken from the Christchurch papers : — "The Dunedih Master Tailors have decided to establish a 'Black List' which will be avai able in all tailoring establishments. The Master Tailors find the cost price of suits noing up, and will endeavour to make the ' bad marks ' pay some of the extra cost before passing it on to good custcmers." "Ihere are' thousands of pounds owing to tailors in Chiistchurch, and one firm alone has ever £2,000 outstanding on its books, im tailor asserted that his vyorst enemies were his own friends —a man m ght pay down £4 en a suit and leave the balance owing permanently." The tailors, then, frankly admit that they charge you over and above the real value for their suits in order to make up their losses incurred by giving credit. They need the "black list" badly, but the Sartorial Service Ltd. trade only for cash, and consequently have no use for it. If you would enly once try a £3 3/Sartorial Suit made to your special order, you would fully appreciate our statement that your tailor charges you 20/- to 30/----mcre than we do for the same quality suit —or better. Don't take our word for it, but ccme and place your order for a£3 3/- suit to-day. We pledge ourselves to satisfy you, and our word is our bond. If you cannot call and look over the new Spring Suits personally, we will send you samples. Our representative can also visit you in your home to take your measurements.
