In the professional golfers' £40C tournament at AValton Heath the following have qualified for the third round:—Leach,- Wilson, Duncan, E Whitecombe, Mayo, Braid, Watt and Ayton. The sensation of the day was Whitecombe defeating Tom Ball by one in the first round.
