DEATH OF A HUNGER-STRIKER.
(Received Oct. 9, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 7. Albert Davis, a prisoner sentenced foi theft at Bedford, hunger-struck am died. At the inquest the gaoler statec that it was not necessary to acquain the Home Secretary in regard to hun ger striking, unless forcible feeding wa; employed. A verdict was returned tha death was due to natural causes.
