BRITISH MANUFACTURERS SLOW
WASHINGTON, Oct. 7. Surprise is expressed at the slowness of British manufacturers in rceognising their chances under the Underwood tarrff. Commercial travellers from France, Germany and other countries are actively benefiting, but no Britishers are present, and they have been again outgeneralled.
