At the Boxing Conference power was rgiven to a referee to have a contestant who was counted out as the result of a -blow which, in his opinion was foul, and which the referee was unable to see -struck, examined by a doctor. If the -claim was upheld, such contestant to be -awarded the contest. A knock-out was made to include the stopping of a contest by any official owing to a contestant "being considered to be in an unfit condition to continue; the amended rule to <come into operation on November 1.
