DESTRUCTION OF SOIL.
Replying to Mr E. Clark (Chalmers)* the Prime Minister stated on Wednesday that the Government had under consideration the question of dealing; this session with the dredging away of valuable agricultural land. "The destruction of agricultural land is regrettable," stated Mr Massey, f fand shoulcfe be prevented, if possible!".
