• (Received Sept. 4 ; 10 a.m.) , BERLIN, Sept. 3. There is a large gathering of royalties at Sigmaringen, including the Prince of Wales, for ex-King Manuel's wedding on Thursday. LISBON, Sept. 3.
There is extraordinary secrecy regarding the Portuguese loyalists' wedding presents. Carbonarios threaten that Manuel's present to the bride, a diadem studded with two thousand diamonds and emeralds, which is being made in Lisbon, shall never reach ii« destination. They maintain a conconstant watch at the shop where the gift is being manufactured, and the jewellers have requested the Government's protection.
